Idaho Weather: Warming with High Altitude Snowfall

The U.S. National Weather Service in Boise, Idaho, is forecasting a warming trend through Sunday before temperatures cool early next week as a weather system moves through the area. The system will bring light precipitation with snowfall expected above 6000 to 7000 feet.

For Saturday, April 5th, temperatures in several locations are expected as follows:

• Baker City: a morning low of 26°F and an afternoon high of 43°F.

• Banner Summit: 18°F low and 43°F high.

• Boise: 32°F low and 62°F high.

• Bogus Basin: 26°F low and 41°F high.

• Brundage Mountain: 21°F low and 40°F high.

• Burns: 24°F low and 42°F high.

• Caldwell: 31°F low and 71°F high.

• Fairfield: 15°F low and 42°F high.

• Idaho City: 15°F low and 59°F high.

• Jerome: 28°F low and 62°F high.

• McCall: 17°F low and 50°F high.

• Meridian: 32°F low and 63°F high.

• Mores Creek Summit: 24°F low and 48°F high.

• Mountain Home: 21°F low and 62°F high.

• Nampa: 31°F low and 62°F high.

• Ontario: 31°F low and 64°F high.

• Stanley: 10°F low and 40°F high.

• Sun Valley Ski: 19°F low and 42°F high.

• Tamarack Ski: 21°F low and 43°F high.

• Twin Falls: 28°F low and 58°F high.

For Sunday, April 6th, some of the expected temperatures include:

• Baker City: a morning low of 27°F and an afternoon high of 52°F.

• Boise: 35°F low and 70°F high.

• Bogus Basin: 31°F low and 48°F high.

An additional warming trend is expected late next week following these weather changes.
